Commercial Contract

Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 · Last Updated: August 26, 2026 · Operator: quitegoodproject.com

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing, subscribing to, or integrating the LandScopeAPI.com API ("Service"), Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, or client libraries operated by Quite Good Project ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("Customer", "Developer", or "Subscriber") agree to be bound by these Commercial Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or consume the API.

2. Spatial API License & Provisioning

Subject to compliance with these Terms and your paid subscription plan, LandScope grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to query our spatial parcel endpoints, programmatic setback calculations, deed owner matching, and solar feasibility algorithms.

  • API Key Custody: You are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your production API keys. You must never commit secret API keys into client-side code, public GitHub repositories, or unauthenticated frontends.
  • Rate Limits & Fair Use: Queries exceeding tier thresholds (e.g. 60 req/min on Starter, 300 req/min on Pro) will receive standard HTTP 429 Too Many Requests responses. Repeated abusive flooding or scraping attacks may result in immediate key revocation.

3. Subscriptions, Payments & Stripe Billing

Paid tiers (Starter at $99/mo, Pro at $299/mo, Enterprise at $2,500/mo) are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis processed securely via Stripe, Inc.

  • Self-Serve Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal accessible in your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access remains active until the conclusion of your current paid billing period.
  • Evaluation & Quotas: We provide 100 free evaluation requests to test parcel geometries and zoning compliance before purchase. Due to immediate computational and spatial compute overhead, subscription fees are non-refundable once the monthly quota has been initiated.

4. Deterministic Calculations & Warranty Disclaimer

LandScope executes spatial queries against verified municipal GIS, county tax assessor rolls, and building safety ordinances. However, municipal zoning codes and setback requirements are subject to local council revisions, legislative variance appeals, and judicial interpretation. LandScope provides deterministic automated spatial calculations for preliminary underwriting and feasibility scoping. All calculations should be confirmed by a licensed civil surveyor prior to structural concrete pouring or final permit execution.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall quitegoodproject.com, LandScope, or its directors, employees, or data partners be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost development profits, delay penalties, or surveying disputes arising out of the use of or inability to use the API.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising from or related to the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
