1. Spatial Data Encryption & Storage
All PostGIS spatial geometry tables, tax assessor deed records, and zoning index catalogs are encrypted at rest using AES-256 industry-standard encryption. In-flight API queries are secured with TLS 1.3 and enforced HTTPS redirection.
2. API Key Hashing & Authentication
Production API keys are hashed using SHA-256 cryptographic hashes prior to persistent verification. Plaintext API keys are generated once during onboarding and are never stored in human-readable form within our primary database.
3. PCI-DSS Level 1 Payment Handling
All subscription payments, card tokenization, and recurring billing transactions are delegated to Stripe, Inc., a certified PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider. LandScope servers never receive, store, or process raw credit card numbers or banking credentials.
